meant to eat at Titaya's last night, but it wound up we were much closer to the Madam Mam's on Anderson

had the Pad Cha catfish and absolutely loved it

having never previously eaten at either, I was was wondering how they compare and should I even bother with Titaya's (we don't eat in Austin but about once a month and my wife is not huge on Thai, so we likely won't be doing Thai more than a few times a yer)

Those sound like upscale strip clubs....

If you like the fish get Pla Sum Rod

its crispy Basa fish with an awesome sauce. Get the sauce on the side if you want to keep the fish crispy.

For noodles get the Pad Woon Sen with chicken (or any other meat)

The Red Curry was the shiznit.

I prefer Thai Kitchen. I found both Madam Mam's and Tatiyana's underwhelming.

I went Thai kitchen on beecave. It sucked.

I'm also a fan of both but would say Titaya's. My wife actually prefers Madam Mam's. P-22 (green beans with curry paste) is the best thing on the menu at MM. That same dish (Pad Plick Khing?) is also available at Titaya's, and is hotter there.

I do not care for Thai Kitchen.
