I'm going to trust the police a lot more than this guy and he gets a ton more clicks, attention and therefore $$$ if he continues to talk about this and make it a big deal.

Not the only "social influencer" headlines from this weeks A&M game. Some guy called "Salami" is generating clicks after one of the AD people had some kind of verbal sparring match with him. Evidently the sidelines at the game have become somewhat of a sideshow.

What is an influencer? Who do they influence? What is it they influence them to do?

My take away from both the sideline incident and the locker room incident is that field passes need to be more regulated by TAMU. Legit/vetted media, those working for TAMU, or those escorted by TAMU reps need to be the only ones with passes given to them.

Salami is a really nice guy. He's a student and Salami is his last name.
Posts a ton of stuff about traditions and stuff he learns it. No idea why they wouldn't want him on the sidelines.

Didn't he graduate?
And his posts could often be dumb and wrong about traditions. He was trying hard to get clicks.

Yeah, that'll never happen. Too many self important donors expect to get sideline time

To?
I mean sure you boot the person off the field that shouldn't be there but do you tell one of the coaches or Mr. Football that they can't have passes anymore? That ain't happening.
