I will say that the BBQ Chicken Pizza sold like crazy, and that it may very well live again in a new iteration next year (not at Rosie's Pasta Bar and not in another Cafe Eccell) in a new concept.

That BBQ Chicken pizza was damn good and correct me if I'm wrong, but those were the early days of BBQ Chicken pizza. It's ubiquitous now but at the time, it was a relatively new thing (as pizzas go....)

Fargo's on Thursdays had some great pork ribs. Best that I have had in a restaurant. The new place had more seating but was in a bad location. They had so much walk up traffic on MLK. Tough to move away from your customer base. I also figured that Covid did them in.

Indeed it was unique and original. We never used premade bbq sauce like so many do today. We made it from scratch. We juiced the fresh lemons by hand. It had a perrfect tang and not overly sweet. Before the Rosie came along, it was the top seller. Then it was second lol.

Got in the longest fist fight of my life on the sand volleyball court at Big Dogs. Fortunately for me I was only 1 beer in at the time and was able to prevail!

I think it was somewhere at NG, but never actually went. They would deliver a 2 piece w/ a roll for $2.99 to your dorm room.

As a fish in the Corps, my old lady and I would order delivery often. You could add a can of coke for 50 cents.

By the time our PH year, it had closed. We definitely missed that place...

Only been in the area 8 years so I don't have any stories of old.
