We have been enjoying farm fresh unpasteurized milk from a vendor that is at the Bryan farmer's market, but demand is up and supply is down. Does anyone know of any other vendors in the Brazos County area?
That's the one I was referring to in my OP. The secret is out and they are selling out for the week the instant it comes on the market. Great family and products there BTW.Jbob04 said:
Don't think there are any farms in Brazos county. There's one up around cause that sells it and I believe they come to Bryan also. 4c
Thanks, I emailed them for info.cavscout96 said:

Honest question - Given the risk of foodborne illness, including bird flu, are the benefits that significant from consuming raw milk versus pasteurized? Do humans really need cow's milk at all?
Raw milk from isolated cows is safe. The problem is that the cows are not isolated anymore.Jbob04 said:
Raw milk isn't a new invention. Humans have been drinking it for thousands of years.

It is delicious. And I am not anti-vax or a doomsday prepper.
I drink milk out of the cow the same day for 18 years and never had an issue.harrierdoc said:
No one needs to drink milk if you eat a well rounded diet.
I used to have a Jersey milk cow and I would milk it daily and we would drink the milk. Would just shake it up to mix in the cream. It's ok. Not worth the work.
I see serious raw milk folks like anti-vaxers and doomsday preppers.
How, specifically, is that funny?harrierdoc said:
I'm not saying it is dangerous, and I recognize that some like it better.
I think it funny that there are a lot of raw milkers that do it for the improved nutritional value, immunologic value, avoid big ag/pharma stuff, etc…
It was most likely 4C. Fantastic people and products.D_Wag97 said:
I saw a vendor at the Downtown Bryan Farmer's Market that had some this past weekend. I didn't catch the name/farm, though.
