Not going to be any businesses left in BCS in a couple of weeks from now at this rate.
I thought so. I drive by there a time or two a day and noticed that no one was there and the interior appeared dark.
It's tough times in the restaurant business.
A lot of the problem is the economy. With the two to four years of accumulated inflation of labor costs, supplies cost, space leases, etc, a lot of people just cannot take a family out and pay what it takes for a family as often as they used to. Many that do, go to less expensive fast food restaurants at half the cost of the sit-down dining restaurants.
Sure, the nice sit-down restaurants have higher quality food and a nicer dining experience, but if people can't afford it, they can't afford it.
If people just change their dining habits half the time, it would have a huge impact on the traffic in restuarants.
I sure wouldn't open up a new restaurant now.
This is occuring in many, many locations across the country, even with the national chains closing locations.
