News to me as well. The youngling likes the movies there better… Free parking for that.

That's fair, but I'd rather risk my car get crushed by the garage collapsing than pay for parking.

This is very surprising to read. I'm going to miss that one bartender. You all know the one.

Blaming the parking is the same strategy folks used to explain the closure of Amico Nave. If the parking was the issue, I doubt the Shipwreck folks would chose that location to expand the seafood joint.

"The median killed our business!!!"
"Let's move our other business over there. Killer median or not."
Just works great for us as the only day we really go out for lunch is Sunday and our church is nearby.EBrazosAg said:
The chances I will be scheduling my visits to an establishment thinking about parking fee free days is as close to 0 as anything can come.
This is the main issue. It's refreshing to see the change in attitudes on here. When Century Square first opened many on here said paid parking was NBD and you see it in big cities all the time. Others pointed out this would be one of the very few places in town requiring it and it would hurt business. Time has proven us right.phillytex24 said:
Parking is the main issue. I never think to go to Century Square ever. I refuse to deal with that rigmarole.

Has to mean Furrows.
Neither of the Lowe's locations here have ever closed down.
It was Lowes. I bought a lot of stuff there. It was much smaller than the ones now.EBrazosAg said:
It was a lumber yard 85-89. Not Lowes…. Maybe 44?
