Yea...traffic management was almost non-existent. Overall, the experience was good, even though it was packed.
My gripe is that there were 4 shuttles at the garage, and they were loading one at a time.
There should have been running separate shuttles for handicapped people, since it took 4-5 minutes to load the one on our bus. The lady looked really uncomfortable due to taking so long to get set.
Then the bus went through west campus, when it should have gone down Finfeather and Welborn Rd.
Same for leaving. After the 5th or 6th single load, they finally loaded 2 at the same time, and then went back to 1 at a time.
I think a 2 yr old could have done a better job. Maybe there will be a review group to look at this stuff, and modify plans for the next event, assuming there will be one. I'll volunteer to sit in if that happens.
Hopefully the university will utilize Kyle and Reed for events. It would beat having to go to the big cities, and I'm sure the local businesses like the bump in revenue.
