Maybe this was just a jump for the fun of it. If they're allowed to do that, on their own time, in Navy uniforms.

The guy with the plane showed up, got out of the plane and took off his own parachute, which we thought was a little weird. Thought maybe it was just an insurance policy?

Then he walked back and forth like he couldn't figure out how to get in the restaurant. Then back to his plane.

A little while later the four jumpers showed up at the fence and he told them how to get around to the plane.

They got in the tarmac area, talked a few minutes, got rigged up, got in the plane. Plane engine came on, sat there. Plane engine turned off and everyone got out. They got on their phones, a couple minutes later they looked up at the tower and gave a thumbs up.

Everyone assumed the folding positions (plane was tight for four guys plus the pilot!!), plane started up again and they were off!

Not sure which way they went.

It gave us something to watch, the terminal was slow tonight between the Aggies record and stormy day/ evening.

Haven't heard, but low ceilings on Saturday could ruin anything planned

True but I don't really count that as a fly over but I will look for them at our tailgate.

Who wouldn't want to conduct a flyover at Kyle Field as a former student?

Isn't this why we now have some baseball flyovers? Too many former students wanting to do a fly over.

They're also from Randolph AFB, where the USAF trains its pilot training instructors. Pretty much everyone at Randolph is on their third or more assignment.

Also every squadron (T-6, T-1, and T-38s) has multiple Lt Cols plus any LtCol up at the Wing or Group.

All that to say, not at all surprising there's a couple Lt Cols involved.

GIGEM2 doing a couple loops out my way, can hear him but too many clouds to see him

Edit: Wife came outside and immediately spotted GIGEM2, and he had a wingman (not showing up on ADSB).

That would be really cool. Sounds a little too cool for ACU, however.

But fingers crossed.

I agree. But as an ACU alum, I can attest that they are used to the VERY cool B-1 Lancer. So perhaps this is what it takes to impress Wildcat fans.

We are working to finalize the names of the pilots before posting, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised .

I have no official information as to flyover time, but the National Anthem is scheduled for 10:45 on the OpOrd. In the past, flyover is at the end of the National Anthem.

Can we ask that the F-35 and F-18 hang back, let the C130 get a head start and then let them light the burners and catch up and blow by the big boy right over the stadium?

I mean they put burners in those things for a reason.

Two F-35C's and two F/A 18's, all based out of Miramar.
No C-130

ETA: Looks like they've added the C130. It was not discussed in our meetings yesterday.

Interesting, there is a C-130 out of Miramar crossing over El Paso at 25K' right now that if you follow his current heading is headed to College Station.
