I go to Brenham most every week and I always go and come back on 159. I like the drive along the river bottom through the Moore Farm and King Ranch farm.Bunk Moreland said:
I've got to do it tomorrow morning again and i'll be making the drive semi often for the foreseeable future. I think I'm just going to exit business 6 into navasota, take 105 west to 159 and drive in that way.
It's a guaranteed additional 15-20 minutes to the drive but at least it's scenic and I won't be screaming and wanting to go into a road rage rampage for 30+ minutes in that mess.
Don't forget the prison farm out there.woodiewood1 said:I go to Brenham most every week and I always go and come back on 159. I like the drive along the river bottom through the Moore Farm and King Ranch farm.Bunk Moreland said:

It's a shame that we can't all learn to Zipper Merge. But I can never see Texans driving so cooperatively.LJF78 said:
Problem with the delays on 6 south is heavily contributed to selfish drivers, delays is because every idiot tries to ride the left lane as long as possible .. or bypass all cars in right lane then cut in at last possible second…if people would merge sooner the right lane would flow with no stops.
Im not letting you merge in front of me, you saw that sign way back just like everyone else
Not just Texans... The Zipper merge is always compromised by bad/aggressive drivers...MiMi said:It's a shame that we can't all learn to Zipper Merge. But I can never see Texans driving so cooperatively.LJF78 said:
