I just wanted to strip out anything that could be an issue with an open court case.
To summarize: there's a case in the 85th district court alleging the debt brought on by someone who is not the HOA but somehow got the HOA to guarantee that debt and the claim alleges that was invalid/illegal.

Wallace Phillips developed all of that correct ? I don't see why he would need to borrow and have an HOA guarantee a note he has made many millions on all his developments
Plus, what would an HOA need 1.4 mil for??? Something isn't right.
I am curious if the Castlegate 2 owners knew that the amenities would be turned over with 1.7 million in debt. Was this on the annual financials for the POA throughout developer control? That is a massive liability for them to take on especially when they probably paid for it or thought they paid for it through their home purchase.

Anyone have a suggestion for a good management company? We pay a bazillion dollars a year in Barron Crossing and BHHS fights us (the board) on wanting lower dues and they are terrible at getting stuff done. They love dragging their feet.
