Looks like a good chunk of the Carter Creek watershed got ~8 inches in 12 hours which is a ~100-year rainfall. Floodplain maps (https://msc.fema.gov/portal/search) show that the 100-year floodplain extends through the house that this photo was taken from. So Carter's Creek appears to be behaving as expected, and possibly a little on the conservative side if that house didn't flood.Alte Schule said:
