Heard from the head of parking that they are about to start towing on Monday so y'all remember to pay for parking or your car is gonna get towed!

If true, I will not visit the businesses there.
I would have done the same.BlueMiles said:
I drove by Thursday, and saw they expected one to pay to park in the garage. I just wanted to pick up a meal to go. Sorry, I don't have the deep pockets of gopitt and I kept on driving.
1st 30 minutes are free. So to go shouldn't be a problem.BlueMiles said:

Eh. The Republic & Christopher's have done well without charging for parking. I think us grownups will be fine.Fonzie Scheme said:
You know, if what you do there is worth the experience, you will pay. If you want to go somewhere else, God bless you and go somewhere else.
But, for that part of town and the development that has come with it, you cannot expect to just pull in and enjoy your evening. Part of growing up is realizing that parking comes at a premium.
If that offends you, there are plenty of McDonalds to satiate you.

I grew up in Plano where they have a very similar (and slightly nicer) shopping/dining area called Shops at Legacy. Parking is free and you can pay to valet if you want to show off. A lot more rich people flowing through that area than CS but they understand paying to park is a pain in the ass and hurts business. Guess I'll just take my poor self to McDonalds thoughFonzie Scheme said:

I understand your sentiment gopitt but personally I avoid NG too for the most part.gopitt said:
And good luck to you. You'll pay more for a quarter pounder and fries than parking but, by gosh, you'll show them who is boss.
Wonder why we don't have all this gnashing of teeth for the Northgate garage with much more limited and run down options?
