Love Fish Daddy's.

It is a chain .... a part of the Cheddars group.

I want one in Huntsville. We lost our only seafood restaurant last year.

Yet they have locations in BCS, Austin, Tulsa, and Spring Field, MO. It's a chain.

Sodolaks in snook has really good fried catfish. The fillets are huge.

My favorite fried catfish is at The Longhorn Tavern downtown, and believe it or not Walt's Favorite at Red Lobster is pretty good fried shrimp.

That said, my favorite seafood isn't fried, but that isn't what this thread is about.

Be thankful we have good choices, and enjoy the quest.

I am from New Orleans and go to Remnants. Others include M-beauxs in Anderson, Wings N more ( fish and shrimp combo) and Fish Daddy's. I actually like Razoo's as well ( pecan catfish).

Spot on. Overall the seafood scene here is sooooo much better than when I first moved here. I've had excellent non-fried seafood at Veritas, Republic, and Porter's...which is three more places serving it then when I arrived here.

While I lament the closing of Fred&Fred, I'm just grateful HEB has stepped up its game.
