Anyone dealt with a salesperson at CS Ford recently that you would recommend?

He posts on the auto board and has a hookup at Tommie Vaughn Ford in Houston that will beat 99% of all the other deals out there with absolutely no haggle. Email 1ags and tell him you want his Ford contact - he's hooked up dozens of TexAgs folks and all are extremely happy. No games, no worries.

Navasota or Caldwell

quote:That was 17 years ago. WOW. They have been sold a couple times since them.
Bought my first and last vehicle from the then Varsity Ford in 1999. I got what I wanted, for the $$ I wanted, but the experience was horrendous. Next Ford came from Brenham dealer, online and a couple of phone calls, polar opposite of the College Station root canal experience.
quote:They may have changed names (not sold), but a leopard can't (or won't) change his spots. If I had been treated poorly elsewhere, maybe a return to Varsity/CS Ford would have happened. Otherwise, why return to a place of misery?quote:That was 17 years ago. WOW. They have been sold a couple times since them.

quote:College Station Ford has new ownership. The same group that bought Varsity Ford in 2014 bought the Garlyn Shelton dealership last year.

quote:The new owners I believe also own Tomball Ford and Port Lavaca Ford which are both high volume dealers that will sell their cars for less. I know alot of people don't like haggling, etc; all I care about is getting the best deal. That being said I don't know what kind of changes have been made at College Station Ford.quote:College Station Ford has new ownership. quote:I had a great sales experience a couple of years ago (with Simba) and have had good experiences with the service dept. for many years.
....and they still stink.
quote:Diff'rent Strokes.quote:A close family member had hell getting them to actually do warranty work. They kept claiming it was not under warranty. He wound up taking it to Navasota, and the guy said "Yeah, we get that story a lot". They fixed the issue under warranty.

quote:Meh, not so much. I guess some people have a different opinion of that guy.
Talk to Simba at College Station Ford. Great guy!
