New BBQ place, a trailer on Tx Ave, near Coulter: Krazy Q and Dr. Sno Kone. It's good.
quote:This, for real. I make a run once a week to one of these places to get tofu/tempeh/vegan junk food and it takes like two seconds. I like that they're not sprawling stores, and Village is cheaper than Whole Foods for the stuff I buy.
While you are waiting for a more mainstream natural groceries option please consider Village Foods and Brazos Naturals pack an amazing amount of product into tiny retail footprints.
Village Foods also has a web source for additional products.

Sprouts tested the market here and pulled out. BCS shoppers don't want "frou-frou" grocery stores...at least not yet.

Drove by and found that the BB&T bank on Northgate was demolished. I think it's supposed to be another tall apartment building when done.

Did TJ Maxx close? I saw an ad on twitter about that location being for lease.

not to derail but i feel like the final product at the corner of University and Texas is pretty underwhelming and coulda been a lot better. that is really considered the center point of town and instead of going 3-4 stories or whatever that is imho that shoulda been a higher rise at least 12-14 stories.

The former Rocking B Steakhouse has the Sloppy Joe logo back up on the sign and a now hiring sign up.
