You could single handedly upset the balance of power in Texas with your special knowledge.
You're strange.
So, what you found on Google wasn't really that big of a deal? Is that what you're trying to say?

I'm appealling to Staff now to please not let this thread get derailed like this. A LOT of people's lives are going to be affected by this hire, in ways we do not yet know.

Keep in mind that The Eagle, a dying print media publication (according to all magazines and newspaper publishers that beg for subscribers), is given free to all System employees at the Connally building since Sharp took over and ownership of the paper changed hands.

If you don't think his credentials are good enough, what did you have in mind. the CIO for a fortune 500 company would never take a 75%+ paycut to become the CIO of the TAMU system. Should they have promoted from within? Well considering the old CIO would be the person from within most qualified, I doubt it.
How about finding a CIO from a smaller university system....perhaps, but then their qualifications would probably equate to Stone's.
Now about the degrading of him being a CPA or a hatchet man. What is it that we are looking for from government employees?
As a fiscal conservative, I am all about reducing the size of Gov. by cutting costs.
I am for smaller government across the board, not just "other people government". Can't stand 'NIMBY' folks.
