I don't care for those types of ads. I usually wonder why they aren't selling me on how they add value to my business/person/etc.

Like all commercials, it depends on content and delivery. I seen to remember commercials for Central Texas Hardware (MANY years ago) where the owner's young teen aged daughter did a pretty good job.

Usually, they are pretty bad and/or annoying.

I also don't like the Fake Conversational Commercials where you supposedly have two "Friends" talking and one describes a product or service as if they are "the expert" but just heard of them from an ad.

I could care less about a business' advertising. I don't watch TV or listen to the radio, so likely I don't see it, anyhow. Instead, I will research the work that they do as best I can, interact with someone from the business, etc, and then choose to do business based on that information.

And why watch commercials when I can just ask you fine people where to send my business?

I have never understood the thought that children saying or doing something cute in an advertisement would tend to get potential customers to remember the business and go there.

I find these really annoying. Been seeing these for many years in this area. Whatever company here in the BCS community makes local commercials lacks any sort of creativity. Basically does the same thing again and again. The old ladies in BCS must find them cute.

What about Marshall Dillon and his Mattress shop?

Grew up on these. It was good when you guys did it cause it was original. Then others started doing it to death and it got old fast.

Ps: bought several cars from Jimmy Copeland back in the day.

Who watches local commercials or television anymore? I check KAGS or KBTX online for headlines and obits, but actually watching television? That's for the dinosaurs!

Vivaldi and TEAM are about to get bought out. Kid commercial had a nice run.
