I know that quite a few Outdoor members are also fellow cigar smokers.

I don't know how many of you smoke regularly, but I thought I would start this thread so that we could post our cigars that we are enjoying at the moment to increase our knowledge and compare tastes etc.

so......tonight i am enjoying a torano 1916 cameroon toro with a glass of crown and water.

last night was a vegas 5 maduro robusto.

if this thread takes off great; if not, it was worth a shot.

Hmmm. I'm more of a cigar a week kind of guy. Last one I had was a CAO Anniversario. Got a handful of Rocky Patels, Ghurkas, and some mismatched singles in my main humidor and a couple acids and a Drew Estate Java in my "flavor" humidor.

Montecristo Habana and Puros Indios torpedos are my favorites.

thats ok. we can treat this thread similar to Goose's juice thread on the GB.

the next time you light up, post what it was and any other info you want to give.

I am looking for a cigar that is really spicy! I smoked a Biarritz that was very spicey and really enjoyed it. Any suggestions on others!!

Usually a Cameroon wrapper will add a good bit of spice. Ligero leaf usually has a lot of spice too and also a lot of power. Try most any Padron, I like the 1964 maduros myself but all their cigars are good. Tatuaje is another you can't go wrong with and most blends especially the US made have a lot of spice.

Last night I enjoyed one of my new orders from Thompson Cigars; a house brand named Iguana (candela wrapper). I was very pleased. A mild but flavorful churchill, it gave a very long, cool pleasant smoke that went well with my newest malbec.
At $2 a cigar, I'll get them again and be very happy. As much as I love the old classics like Cohiba (lonsdale especially), La Aurora, La Flor Dominican, etc., it's getting harder and harder to justify burning $8-15 a smoke.

If you like spicy, try an El Rico Habano. I believe they were off the market for a few years due to hurricane crop devastation, but they're back now ... good stuff.

glad to see there's at least one other drew estates fan. I had an extraordinary larry last night, with a bottle of wine. Rough day, but a good ending.

cusano makes a very spicy cigars. i've also found some spice in avo's.

tonight is a gispert maduro robusto. i'm looking forward to this stick. the last few i've had had been incredible. they are an extremely well-made cigar with tons of flavor and can be had at bundle price. i'll be picking up a box of these soon.

you ought to look into Flor de Oliva made by Oliva.

they are a bundle cigar that offers great value and are far superior to anything from Thompson. they can be had at a little less than $2/stick in a variety of wrappers and viotolas.

Backwoods, HA! Those were my first smokes. Oh the memories.
Not to hijack the thread, but sometimes I think finding a cool place (and company) to enjoy a cigar can be more important than the cigar itself. My list includes: MSC roof, Rail bridge over Brazos west of CS on 21 (don't try that at home), and base camp on Mt Rainier.
Anybody else?

tonight was a hoyo dark sumatra toro.

i wasn't too impressed. nice burn and nice ash, but the flavor was rather bland. the wrapper was a mocha brown, not as dark as i had remebered.

it started out earthy, something i wasn't expecting, and ended on a sweeter note.
