I was watchin an infomercial this morning about that thing and i was wondering if it was a bunch of bull or if it was actually worth trying.

Probably not any better than any other soft plastic of a similar type and function, but I'm sure it could work.

I've said it many times before and I will say it again right now: "If you ain't throwin' the Banjo Lure, you ain't fishin'.

Actually, I have used them, 8-10 years ago, and they do not work any better than other lures.

one lure I must sheepishly admit that I'd like a few of is the Helicopter lure...

it was PITA to rig up with the swivel and all, but it was a great alternative to a horny toad type bait...

Does anyone remember the "Walkin' Worm?"

I might know someone that got suckered into buying some. He doesn't seem to think they work any better than other lure at Academy, either.

Actually, I had good luck with the Banjo. Also, the Helicopter Lure was GREAT in weedy areas. The Flying Lure you ask? Well, that one sucked.
