6 mm Remington Model 7 youth edition. Great little gun, me and my dad both still shoot it even though I have a .270 now. She's a little tack driver

bam02, I also had a Chipmunk .22. I took it out not too long ago and I still love it. It will definitely be passed down!

Other than a BB gun I smuggled into the house (My parents hated guns!)my first guns were (in order of issue)

an M16A1, M60, M1911A1, Mossberg Trench Gun and an M203/M16. I finished my service career with an M60 assigned to me as a gunner, with a M16A1 and M1911A1 backup.

And all the ammo I could shoot!

Bless you Uncle Sam!

Mossburg 20Ga pump action. That was the hardest shooting gun in history. I think it had a granite stock. It was a world of difference between that and my current 870 express 12ga. Everyone who shot that gun winces after, and my dad once apologized.

I got a single shot .410 when I was 8-9 but was afraid to shoot it. My Grandpa gave me a Remington 1100 20 gauge when I turned 10 and took me on my first duck hunt in Rockport with my dad and uncles. My first deer rifle was a .243 lever action Savage when I was 11. Killed my first deer that fall. I stil have every one of them.

My first gun was a Red Ryder.

My sons too.. We still have one around the house. Those are great for shooting dogs and cats in the yard. Typically not strong enough to break the skin, but it will run them off pretty good!
