Continuing our swap of deer stands. Local feed store comes to get them, takes them to town, replaces the fiberglass box, and then returns to original location for only $200 over the price the fiberglass box.

Going forward - I will maintain them better. Our first round of fiberglass stands was in 2006. This is a 2006 model. NOW I know I need to paint them every few years to keep the sun from wearing on them. You can see daylight through the roof!

We are on year #2 of upgrading 1 per year. Got a few years ahead of us still

As others have said. She is just shedding her coat. The lines and marks come from her walking thru trees, brush, and branches dragging against her or another deer hitting her with a hoof at a feeder etc.
This time of year you can find tuffs of hair on branches, fences, around feeders etc.

Which one are you after?

looks like mange, buy some medicated feed or spray some cheap cattle pour on dewormer on the corn and it should knock it out

The dude. Long browtine buck. Hes 7. Tried last year and only saw him on stand once for about 5 seconds

This one right here! We have shot so many that didn't grow brow tines over the years and last year was the first year that none were seen. I'm sure he came from the big ranch next to us that sells package hunts and doesn't cull much

Thought that other picture looked like some painting you would see at a banquet for sale for a bunch of money!

Couple of these guys are shedding too.
