I may be selling an AR pistol I bought from Eyeguy 5 or so years ago. I also have several PMAGs and the metal magazines, along with quite a bit of .223 and 5.56 ammo. It has a Holosun sight, not sure which one, and Magpul rail covers.

Any ideas what I could/should sell this package for? It has never been fired, and I don't know the specific components that were used in the build.

Honestly, the devil is in the details. Probably a BA barrel because he used a lot of those. price could vary from $500 to $1500 depending on the specifics.

Most of the components will likely have a manufacturer stamp on them somewhere.

We could probably tell you more with a few good pics. Even more if you were to disassemble it first to show the bolt carrier as well as the barrel markings.

A lot of times it's the small things like does it use stock milspec controls or upgraded and possibly ambi controls, etc.

A trigger itself can be anywhere from $15 to $300...

Market is down on gun stuff across the board.

Anything thats not a factory gun you're better off parting out to sell the good components separately, if there are any. If you insist on selling as is, going to have to price it like a homebuild to move (cheap).

You won't get very much for it. Those put together things are a dime a dozen and have no real resale value. Nobody cares about an upgrade to a spring or hand guard or whatever.

There is a pawn shop near me sitting on countless ARs and can't move them at anything close to what they originally cost. Especially the ones that are put together.

I think one of the biggest problems for buyers too is that it is really hard to tell what is stock and what is not. So they just sit there.

Edit to add-Not a shot at all at EyeGuy or having an AR put together. I had an Eyeguy AR bought from a poster that now belongs to my neighbor. I sold it to him because I don't like the short barrel but it is a great gun. Well balanced and does it's job. Great trigger. Great ergonomics. All of that. I just wanted something different.

But if you are havign a gun put together from custom parts it is not for resale. If it is a good shooter just keep it. Or do what I did and trade it.
