My son adopted from a shelter. The puppy had been abandoned and picked up by a rescue shelter, half starved and with the pavo virus. He survived that and my son adopted him at ~12-weeks old. He will follow you around the house if you leave the room and just wants to be around everyone else. When we watch him for my son, he will sleep outside our bedroom door all curled up and not move until I get up in the morning. I think he has abandonment issues.
