Believe it is 1.25" but will double check when I get there. This valve cracked and I don't have time to order it. Ball valve with bleeder port. Doesn't seem like HD or Lowe's has them and Google shows me places to order it.

Prefer league city to East Houston.

I'd try Longhorn Supply at:
13010 Brittmoore Park Dr, Houston, TX 77041

ETA: I know it's the opposite side of town, but likely had it.

Sorry, not much help but what's it for? Could you just grab a normal one from Lowe's and correct it later?

Looks more like 1" to me. Should say on the brass body though.

It's for a sprinkler system at a home. I was sent a picture of calipers on the PVC pipe and it's over 1.5" which leads me to believe that it is 1.25".

I could probably get by with a normal one for the time being yes but I prefer to have the one with the bleeder so I don't have to mess with it again. If I have to I will though yes.

Moore Supply in League City should at least have the ball valve

My pvb cracked at the ball valve during a freeze way back and I had no luck finding the valve. eBay seemed to have a few and some online supply houses had some for $40+$25 shipping. I ended up buying a new pvb and tossing the old one on the shelf for parts. I think the folks with irrigation licenses/companies get uppity about servicing your own fwiw.

Supply House has them in stock. Not cheap for that size. Has smaller sizes if not 1.25".
Reliable and very fast shipping.
Keep looking on their site and you may find the exact same valve. Or just give them a call their customer service is good, I've done that before.
I've bought specialty fittings from them many times.

I use a similar valve that has a threaded vent for 1" PEX.

This is probably the part number you're looking for if it ends up being 1". Lowe's has the whole pvb on the shelf for $120ish.

It's not a bleeder valve, it's a test cock for annual testing. Easier to buy a new PVB and a couple of couplings and slap it on there.

Yea the petcock is in the port for the bleeder. The valve everywhere I have seen is called ball valve with bleeder. I get what it's for.

I've seen the whole assemblies at Lowe's but was hoping to avoid having to replace the entire thing but that may be where I am at.

Licensed backflow tester here. Just install a new one. It's illegal, not that you would ever get caught, to modify a backflow device.

I don't see how doing a 1/1 swap of the exact same valve is "modifying" it.

I've never heard of a residential backflip device requiring testing
