…..but the guy who built the fence said he thought the natural rust color would be a close match and that the pipe would be fine forever not painted.
The wife said ok so I was really happy I didn't have to paint all of that.

Oh yea. I'll take some pics of detail of how we did it. About dark here now but will take some tomorrow.

Yesterday. Here are some pics of how I did the wire rope.
I used 3/8 SS wire rope. Not cable. We keep horses behind that fence. It's 52" tall. The spacing keeps horses from sticking their heads through.
The wire rope was much more economical than adding two more pipes. Very easy to install. I welded footman loops to run the cable through.
All threads on both ends to tighten. When making directional changes I put a 4" pipe with brace and just go around it and continue.

I've always been told they made it purple because purple is not a color that happens too often in nature and supposedly it's easier for colorblind people to differentiate from brown/green.
