I'm looking to add a good old fashion pump shotgun to my home defense armada. Where is the best place to get one? What kind would you recommend? Don't need anything fancy.
Older Remington 870, I would be skeptical of one made in the last 10 or so years, Remington has had issues with QC on ther pump guns.StockHorseAg said:

Got one I'll let go in you're interested. Remington 870
Yep, Walmart special... While the 870 has proven reliability over the years, probably not the same quality now as before either. I have an old 870 that was used as a paddle in the salty swamps of the Gulf of America on more than one occasion. Still kicking...SanAntoneAg said:
Dang, I remember when these were $199.99

What three businesses were those? Just curious, I've lived here since '10 and have only shopped at Champion and Burdett.oklaunion said:
Give your local shops your business. The last time Trump got in office, BCS had 3 gun shops go out of business within a year.
Agree 100%.oklaunion said:

Best Little Gun Shop in Texas out on 21 east, the one in the strip center with the hardware store and KFC on Texas in CS (run by a bunch of Marines who went out of business and had a lot of transfers locked up for months, formerly in Bryan by J Cody's) and a third that I can't remember offhand.MyNameIsJeff said:What three businesses were those? Rem 870 or Mossberg 590
I remember the one by the KFC, the transfers that were held up caused a bit of a rukus around here.oklaunion said:Best Little Gun Shop in Texas out on 21 east, the one in the strip center with the hardware store and KFC on Texas in CS (run by a bunch of Marines who went out of business and had a lot of transfers locked up for months, formerly in Bryan by J Cody's) and a third that I can't remember offhand.MyNameIsJeff said:What three businesses were those?
