Shot a buck. Saw three indigos. Found two arrow heads. Pretty epic.
Ive seen less than a handful of indigos in my life. I was as shocked as anyone to see three in less than 24 hours.

Poked around the Big Thicket this weekend and found a copperhead under a log. Going to be a chilly few days for it this week but they're tough.

Feel like this is a pretty big mess by Texas parks and wildlife Probably would've been better to try and figure out where he was getting them from than pick them up and parade around the news.

Nah. They're easy to get. Lots of people keep them legally (usually in the county outside city limits). They're not illegal to keep, but you have to have the correct permits and live in the county. Most cities have ordinances against it.

Again, where he was getting them from is most likely not the issue. The issue is that he was keeping them illegally with no permits.
One of the zoos I worked at - one of the supervisors had 2 hyenas, a 10 foot nile croc, and 3 African wild dogs he had purchased legally. He had all the correct permits and lived in the middle of nowhere. He'd pick up roadkill along the highway to feed them.

Believe it's leucistic, not albino. Note the black eye instead of red.
I don't know if I have ever seen a fully white leucistic animal. I've shot a leucistic dove and seen plenty of ducks but in my recollection all have been splotchy. Really cool.

They can breed for it. How it actually works, no idea. I've just watched enough snake shows to know they can do it.
Not a snake, but close enough… saw this guy down among the gravel and sand beach down near Trammell's Crossing on the Pedernales this morning.
