Slow year for our group too, my son got a doe but we let a bunch of younger bucks walk. Mature bucks stayed hidden.

Nailed this guy third weekend of the season. My brother got a nice one too
So the greatest civilization is one where all citizens are equally armed and can only be persuaded, never forced. It removes force from the equation... and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

been blanked this year, but have 4 days of hunting lined up starting tomorrow. my oldest got his first deer though, so it's still a successful season regardless if I get something or not.

Shot an old 8 point that needed to be culled out and two nice doe. We should have a good bunch of bucks for next season. Only a couple of good bucks shot at our place this year. I passed on a nice 10 that had his G2 broke off. He will be a stud next season.

Passed on two bucks at the beginning of the season and then all I got was a bypass. Blessed to still be able to hunt and spend more time in Gods beautiful outdoors though.

Had a pretty good year in my family, me and my dad took to great deer with El Sapo guide service. Then my mom went and killed a 160" deer on our low fence family place yesterday!

Not a bad season at all here.

2 does (daughter took one, I took one)
2 bucks (one in Brazoria County, on in Mexico)
Daughter smoked a 202 lb boar on Christmas day with her new 6.5 Grendel rifle
I also took a few coyotes and a javelina in Mexico

Didn't get the buck at home that I was chasing, but I gave it a hell of an effort. The old guy is old because he's smart and I hope I get a chance to chase him again next season. Makes going a lot more fun when you have quarry that is not easy to get.
