Front gate is ~1000' from the house. In hindsight, should've laid in some cat6 when I trenched in the water line. BUT since i didn't do that - looking for some reviews on front gate set ups. Not in view from the house.

Seems like it would work great on a front gate - (and if i buy 2 of them I can put the 2nd on the deer feeder). I've got a couple of battery powered trail cames which served the purpose of getting a picture (usually grainy, blurry, or the tail end of whatever I wanted to see).

Any reviews? or different products?

Could you build a wifi mesh out that far? And then just use some wifi security cameras?

You need to try a point to point wireless Wifi Bridge Kit, you will need power at both ends as well. These duel antennas offer 3-5 km or possibly more range to shoot your wireless signal from antenna to antenna. We are fixing to try one out at my moms place

I have a similar situation with power at the gate and house (of course) but no data line. Gate is approximately 375' from the house. Interested to see options presented here. We have an older LTE camera but would like to use a Ring camera or something similar if possible. Thanks!

Arlo seems to get the best recommendations as far as being better than regular cell linked trail cameras.
