Very dry in central Texas, so I leave a tub of water out for critters in the greenbelt behind the house.
Pretty good diversity of animals, surprised their hasn't been a bobcat recently.

Forgot to add these two.
Musta been outta Lone Star:

Brand new next door neighbor, moved in last week:

Homo sapiens "Californiacus"
Identifiable by his comfy shoes, headphones, and commenting on how this is a "totally a place where mosquitos come from" to his wife "Homo sapiens californiacus veganicus"
They are apparently unaware there is a microphone in Arlo cameras. There is literally a Prius in the driveway. Oh boy.
(There are minnows in the bucket to take care of the 'skeeters fella)

This is where you need to warn him about the mountain lions you have on camera back there and how the last neighbors from California learned the hard way.

I have cat pictures but do not have the skills to photoshop on your pics.

Is your Arlo camera in internet range or is it on cell service? Do you like it better than tactacam, etc?

It's within internet range, about 40' from the back porch just on the outside of my fence.
Haven't used any cellular game cams.
A few more.

Yes, but a great horned has taken out 4 of our chickens in the last 2 weeks. In the middle of the damn day.

I just spray some water through the wrought iron fence into the bucket when needed.
Near daily in the heat of the summer or when the raccoon family of 4 starts partying in there like it's Schlitterbahn.

OP, mind sharing some info on the trail cam?

It isn't a trail cam, it's a wireless Arlo brand security camera.

I'm not sure of the model, but they are all about the same. Have an app on my phone that videos download to for about 7-8 bucks a month.

The pics posted here are all screenshots of videos.

Love this. We have two Blink cameras behind our house and get bobcats, coyotes, possums, racoons, armadillos, and even the occasional family of otters.

Highlight of my morning is waking up and seeing a few notification on my phone that we had some visitors in the night

Is the bird pic between the possum and the lizard a nighthawk (or some other type of nightjar)? I don't know my birds that well, but the fuzzy face seems indicative of nightjars.

Those videos are so dang funny. Every time I see them they literally make me laugh out loud.

The first night I set it up I had notifications on via text messages.
I also didn't think there would be that much activity, so I got a can of sardines & spread them around. Poured juice in different places, etc. Set up a nice little scent perimeter to draw in the few animals that might be around. Big mistake.

My text messages start blowing up when the sun went down & never stopped. I cut the sound off after a while. I had nearly 9 hours of continuous possum, coon & fox activity... many all at the same time. Never did that again.

I lost a bunch of pics at one point. I'd like to get some bobcats on camera again.

Thanks for the reply. The lack of "ears" threw me off. We're in NW Austin and have both screech owls and Chuckwills also - both are fun to listen to, even if we very rarely see them. The greenbelt behind us is out of internet range and I'm too lazy to set up a game cam, but I do enjoying watching the parade of deer, 'dillos, possums, raccoons, and occasional ringtail that show up on the camera facing our front yard.

Holy cow. I watched in in small mode and I thought from the voice that I was SNL with Chris Farley.

So my parents live out on the farm down south Texas. My dad used to have the dog watering bowl (trough) up against the house. They would get all kinds of animals coming up to the house drinking water, skunks, coons, possums, birds, some hogs, and most creepy were snakes. So when my dad passed away our mom asked if we could do something with the dog water bowl so we moved it down near the barndo and out of site. Now she rarely sees animals up near the house, the animals were obviously coming for the water during dry times. The good thing is the random snakes are not up around the house nearly as much.

Have a question about the minnows. My kids and I would love to do something like this, but are the mosquito larvae enough for them to live off of or do you feed them some?
