Posting this for a good buddy over in Port St. Joe, Florida. Formerly my tarpon guide over there and a friend who is now a project manager with St. Joe Company. His contact info is in the listing below.

Barn-stored, professionally-maintained 2022 Stoner Boatworks 20' Abaco Skiff for sale:

This is a "one-in-the-world" opportunity to own a hand-laid, completely custom Josh Stoner-built 20' Abaco Skiff with only 146 hours on the Yamaha F-150 engine. For the angler who loves inshore skiff fishing but has a family, this 2300-lb. boat with a 60-gallon, in-floor gas tank is the perfect boat for both needs. The super sharp entry in the bow paired with an aggressive reverse chine allows this boat to run in the mid-40's and keep you dry. It feels like you are glued to rails when it runs. No bow-hunting or sliding in sharp turns. Drawing right at 11", you can get super shallow and stay quiet on the flats, employing the 24-volt Minn Kota Terrova with on-board battery charger and batteries installed amidships in the super-dry center console.

The dropped forward casting deck pairs perfectly with the bow cushion when the family is aboard, or you can leave the bow pad at the dock and quickly install a flush-mounted tarpon cage, custom designed by Tallahassee Fabrication. Anchor storage in the bow perfectly accommodates the 12-lb. Sea Claw brass/stainless anchor, and is fit with an offset stainless chock to keep the anchor rode from chafing. The forward storage in this boat is bone-dry and cavernous when compared to storage in most skiffs. The deep, aggressive forward entry of the boat makes this space unbelievably ideal for tackle bags, foul-weather gear, first-aid/safety equipment.

As you drop back from the bow into the roomy cockpit of this Spanish Wells hull, you'll notice the bulkhead-mounted Ritchie compass and V-Marine under gunwale rod holders on both sides of the cockpit. Stainless vertical rod holders are positioned cleanly on each side of the console- not competing with the roomy seating and high-back of forward console seat. The insulated under-seat cooler is drained into the self-bailing cockpit with a flush-mounted stainless drain. This cockpit also features a stainless on-board washdown with a 20-gallon freshwater tank just forward of the fuel tank. The Swim-step w/ ladder and grey bimini top are incredible for scalloping or beachcombing with the family.

Across the rear deck, we designed forward lifting hatches that make reaching for something in the aft hatch storage spaces a breeze when the boat is on the trailer. Rear storage feeds underneath the center seat, also accommodating the removable aft running light pole while not in use. Bilge access through a roomy inspection plate makes bilge pump/fuel/water separator exchanges much easier.

Lenco trim tab controls with indicators make leveling this skiff super intuitive in rough conditions. Ergonomically situated directly in front of the Yamaha throttle makes trim/tabs/tilt all "at your fingertips." The brushed stainless Edson wheel features rubber grip underneath, another small touch that makes handling this boat incredibly comfortable. Yamaha digital gauges and the Garmin 10" 9000-series GPS integrate seamlessly with the transom-mounted transducer/side scan feature. Custom-fabricated in-dash storage allows wallets/trolling motor controls/etc. to remain dry while you are on the water.

The 2022 custom-built Ram-Lin dual-axle aluminum trailer makes trailering this boat and launching/retrieving a non-issue. Custom LED lights, walk-board for launching, and sealed hubs make this a worry-free package going down the highway. Transom-mounted ratchet straps, carpeted guide-ons, and adjustable bunks make this trailer a perfect fit for the Stoner Boatworks Abaco Skiff.

There is not another boat like this on the market, and not a better all-around inshore boat for the family and hardcore inshore/fly/light-tackle fisherman built to date!

$64,900 boat/motor/trailer. Please contact Preston Sutter at eight 5 O- seven 9 seven thirty4 eight-nine or email preston dot sutter at stjoe dot com

I've fished with a different guy for a number of years now but first started tarpon fishing with Preston in 2010 and fished with him until 2018 when his wife told him to quit drinking & being a guide and find a different job or get a divorce.

As trip98 pointed out to me off-line, I should buy this but then I'd have 2 boats I never use.
