Killed a 2 man limit this morning and a damn gator ate 2 of my downed birds. Hoping to get a 3 man tomorrow. Hunting on the coast. Buddies that went to the north part of the state got skunked

0 on public, I'm struggling out there this year have shot 2 birds, dove. 5 hunts 4 dove hunts 1 teal hunt, moved all over to traditionally good spots.

0 teal birds seen

How are your lakes dry?? We've had over 15" of rain since May 1 in Encinal and my Mexico lease just S of Laredo has had closer to 20"….

Killed another 2 man limit this morning. Couldn't quite get our 3 man. Both mornings have filled my personal limit by 7:45 and have gotten to just help my buddies out. I introduced them to duck hunting this weekend, so it was fun getting to experience that with them.

Everything dissipated before hitting the ranch. I think we've had 5 inches in that time. They were already low from last year. Two years ago was the most water we've ever seen on the place.

Saturday my youngest dropped his first birds on the wing.

Then Sunday evening we hit them again.

Outstanding weekend and great time with good friends.
