This dewsh started off sus_agdawg. sus_agdawg joined on April 13, 2024 and somehow got his username changed within a few weeks.

But Texags has a policy where you can't change your username within 6 months. So is this a bug in the forum software or did someone at Texags change his name for him? Or dare I say... an inside job?

Also worth noting this account still has a TMF icon. So there still an active account with the TMF, or does texags code not refresh when TMF accounts lapse for non payment?

Yep similar to want to buy posts being a scammer magnet unsolicted offers from your replies to a WTS ad are how scammers will target you.

Wouldn't necessarily protect in cases like what happened here. This could be a Texag poster just as easily as a random internet scammer.

Sorry this happened to you. But with the high visibility of scammer on Ticket Exchange through this latest college baseball season, it blows my mind that people still get scammed in the same manner.

Your timeline of events had about 50 different red flags that should've caused you to kill this thing at any point.
