We cut our weekend short and just got home to Boerne from Rockport. Boarded up the in-laws place and secured loose yard items into the garage. Only traffic backup was at the stop signs just out of Rockport but there were officers there helping with traffic flow. There was a lot of traffic on I37 but it was moving at speed limit in most places. Lots of campers and boats headed north.

Just left our Flour Bluff place a couple hours ago. Cleared the yard and exterior. No boards. I hope the next door neighbors secure their POS trampoline or at the very least turn it upside down. It was in our driveway post Albert.

Corpus as well.. not boarding up, but have stuff and will make a call in the morning if things change drastically. Kids and wife were out of town anyway so me and the pup holding it down. Not too worried about it at this point.

Got just enough to make it humid earlier as things were coming in from the west, but everything died out. Looking like everything big is now forming up east of 35, so probably nothing for west SA. Again.
These last few days have been super depressing. Went from looking forward to potentially drought breaking rain, and once again we might get just a five minute drizzle.

I'd take even that. We may not even get measurable rain where I am.
