Anyone know of any solid fishing holes in the Woodlands area? Preferably local holes where I can just sit and relax near the water. Doesn't matter what size or what type of fish. It's just therapeutic to me and I'm hoping someone knows of a few spots.

Dude…just open Google maps and pick 1 of the hundreds of ponds.

You can throw a rock and find a spot to fish.

lol…all good. I was just busting your chops no biggie. But I've found some big fish in really tiny ponds around there. Especially ones around buildings. It's also kinda fun to use the Google maps and hit up random locations.

Also add that depending on how you want to fish makes a difference. Lures, plastics (type), etc…

If all else fails, go fish under the bridge on Research Forrest. I've had decent luck there on red senkos.
