5-23-24:
*Current Listing of what is available*

Item 1: Henderson Precision Trimmer
Item 2: Primal Rights Comp Primer Seater SPF
Item 3: EP Integrations Annealer SPF
Item 4: MEC Marksmen Press x1
Item 5: AutoTrickler v3 + A&D FX-120i Scale SPF

Life events have dictated that I can no longer reload for my precision rifles. As such, I will be selling all of my equipment, and posting it here over the next few weeks as I pull items off the bench, catalogue the parts, and get photos. Fortunately, the rifles aren't going anywhere, but with a heavy heart, the sale of my reloading stash must begin, and it all has to go.

If you need additional photos or info, I can be reached at: username all one word at the yahoo address.

There will be equipment for all phases of reloading:

Brass prep - Trimming, Annealing, Priming
Loading - Powder throw/weight, Presses, Dies, etc
Components - Brass, Powder, Primers

First item: Generation 3 Henderson Precision case trimmer: ($780 Value)

https://hendersonprecision.com/product/gen-3-powered-case-trimmer/

This comes with the following extras:

1) Henderson Precision dust cover ($70 value)
2) Bass shaving containment bin ($50 value)
3) Three trimmer heads - 6mm, 6.5mm, 7mm ($120 value)
4) InLine Fab base plate ($80 value)

Trimmer was used to trim only 200 cases of 6.5mm. The trimmer is in nearly brand new with less than a half hour of trim time on the motor.

Price: $800 for everything above. If shipping, we can figure out a ship cost and split it.

2nd Item: Primal Rights CPS - Competition Primer Seater ($675 value) SPF

http://www.primalrights.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=134

If you hand prime...you'll never do it again after using this. Comes just as if purchased from the factory with small and large primer rod, small and large primer tube. I can include the 2x6 for free . I currently have a Lee #2 priming shell holder in the CPS, and can include that if needed. The seater is like new, used to prime only 300 pieces of brass. Handle can be switched between left and right side.

Price: $600. If shipped, we split the ship cost.

Third Item: EP Integrations v2.0 Brass Annealer ($268 value)

https://www.epintegrations.com/product-page/ep-2-0-annealer

Annealer comes with:

- Fully adjustable EP integrations annealer
- Torch head
- Torch support
- "Catch Basin" aka metal kitchen pan

Price: $200. Like the other stuff - split the ship cost if not a FTF transaction.

Fourth Item: MEC Marksman Rifle Reloading Press

https://www.mecoutdoors.com/mec-marksman

I have 2 of theses single stage presses. One that I had set up with a deprime die, and was a dedicated deprime press. The other was set up for sizing and bullet seating. Both presses come with:

1) MEC Marksman Press (Value: $250)
2) Short handle for a more compact throw (Long handle comes from MEC, will be included) Value: $30
3) MEC press stand (Value: $35)

Photos:

Price: $225 takes the Press + Stand + Extra handle. I have 2 of these. Will sell both for $400.

Fifth Item: AutoTrickler v3 + A&D FX-120i Scale

https://autotrickler.com

https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0525/7235/6768/files/1_-_AutoTrickler_V3.pdf?v=1615401821

Probably my favorite piece of reloading equipment, and the item that I will miss the most. Comes with scale, auto throw, auto trickle, and a full Area 419 Upgrade kit. In total, parts and upgrade pieces worth $1,100.

Photos:

Price: $900 all powder throw components - scale, auto throw, auto trickle, and all 419 upgrade parts.

If someone wants everything shown here - presses, primer seating, brass trimming, annealing and scale - I can make a good deal on the entire package.

Tikka. I'm interested greatly on the Henderson Case Trimmer…. But have a question. The video looks to show a different model. Yours looks to have the black box that attaches to the motor that looks to have some control knobs? Teach me.
I did not watch the whole video. Maybe I should and would perhaps would answer my own question?

Gunny: I believe you are seeing the Gen 3 trimmer that is only the trimmer body - no power supper - like this:

https://hendersonprecision.com/product/gen-3-case-trimmer/

The one I have is the Gen 3 powered with the 115v motor. Incredibly smooth and quiet piece of equipment.

I'm looking on their web site and the powered Gen 3 they show shows the 115 v motor with a belt guard and a in line rocker power switch but says it is single speed.
Looks like yours has a box that is for the on off toggle switch and a variable speed control?
Am I correct seeing that?
TikkaShooter
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Yessir, you're correct. It looks like Henderson made a change, and only makes a single speed. I would have to contact Todd Henderson to see why that change was made. Yes, my model has a variable speed control box. I'm not sure when HP changed that. This trimmer was purchased in the summer of 2021, brand new, from Henderson.

If you'd like, I can e-mail Todd and see what drove the change to a single speed, and if there is any advantage/disadvantage to my version of the Gen 3 trimmer.

I would greatly appreciate that. I would think the variable speed would be advantageous. Maybe nobody used the variable so they felt they could cut some cost.
Really thank you if you can find out sir.

I'm going to guess thats the reason as well.

I'll drop a line to Todd and see what I can learn. Will report back to ya Gunny.

Appreciate the concern. Just a shift in the shooting priorities, driven by some changes out of my control. We make plans, but the Big Man has the wheel.

Things change, and I'm just not willing to let' this good equipment sit unused. Hoping someone else upgrading their stuff (or getting into loading) can give these a home.

Post updated with all equipment: Scale, Press, Trimmer, Annealer, Primer.

As to not clutter this thread, I will post other parts (dies, funnels, brass boxes, etc) and components (brass, powder, primers) on different threads.

Thanks for looking,

@Gunny:

I just got off the phone with Todd Henderson at Henderson Precision. Yeah...buying American made is awesome. When you call the phone number, you get the owner of the darn company. Love that.

The short of it: The motor on my Gen 3 and the motor on the current Gen 3 (kinda confusing yes, but more on that...) is exactly the same - mine just has an adjustable speed.

Todd said that they found most users were trimming at full speed, and while the adjustability was nice, it wasn't being used a ton. The next time they sourced motors, they went with the same type, but no speed adjustment. With this being the only change, they didn't see a need to reclassify the non-adjustable speed motor as a Gen 4 unit, since the trimmers are exactly the same.

Only other diff: The adjustable motor does have a rectifier that it allows it be used anywhere in the world.

Let me know if I can answer anything else for you.

I will be interested in your primers when/if you decide to sell them. Large rifle and/or Magnum are awful hard to come by right now.
TikkaShooter

Will do. I have a few thousand Large Rifle (maybe 5? 8? I'll have to check) that I will be listing with other components once I put that thread together.

I appreciate you finding that out. Did you ever use the variable speed feature? Was it an advantage?

Also on the powder power trickler set up ….., I currently have a new A&D FZ-120i scale that I bought for precision powder measurements. I have a regular RCBS power throw that gets me close, then I hand trickle on the FZ-120i to finish. Slow but gets the job done.
The accuracy of my FZ-120i is stated after calibration is + or - 0.010 g. What is the accuracy of the A&D scale that you have.
I just bought the new scale last year and it was pretty expensive as you know.
I looked but could not find a video of operation of the trickler set up. Could not find anything on the company web site.
How old is yours and approximately use?
TIA.
TikkaShooter
How long do you want to ignore this user?
A little over 2 years old. All of this equipment was purchased in the spring and summer of 21. I can go look for my confirmation email to get an exact date, if that helps.

The auto throw and trickle will 0.01 of accuracy. It's a pretty incredible device. I use the auto trickler app on my phone, input thr powder charge, and away we go as follows:

1) powder thrown under the input charge
2) trickler immediately cranks up and spits out kernels
3) slows as it approaches the charge
4) stops on a dime as the A&D and auto trickle are connected.

Lots of good YT videos of the work flow. I'll see what I can find. It's fast. It's very accurate. It's repeatable. Makes loading so quick. By the time you take the charge and put it down a funnel into your brass…the next charge is nearly done. Very little lag time.

The Area 419 upgrade parts really set you up for success and dialing in the set up. Plus it removes a few of the 3D printed parts.
TikkaShooter
How long do you want to ignore this user?
In regards to the variable speed…I actually did use it. The Henderson trims and gives a 14deg inside chamfer 30deg outside chamfer, all at the same time. Softer brass I ran at a bit lower speed. Harder stuff, I ran it full.

Todd would tell you that's probably not needed, but I did it for peace of mind. As you know, not all brass is made equal.

Tikka... What powder funnels are you going to list? I am tired of my basic funnels and have a nice set in my cart at Midway.

https://www.area419.com/product/billet-interchangeable-head-powder-funnel/

I've got 3 of 4 of the interchangeable heads. I forget how many I have. Lots of parts to be gone through, but yeah. This 419 funnel with the cal specific heads are perfection. No spilling powder, ever.

@Gunny:

Here is a pretty good (and short) video of the AutoTrickler set up with the A&D scale. This guy looks to have the exact same Area 419 upgrade kit installed as well.

A couple of notes from the video:

1) He's short throwing the powder, IMO. I was often able to dial in the powder throw to within 0.20 of the final charge. This meant the AutoTrickle would spin up and reach the final charge much faster. As you can imagine, the closer to the full charge on the initial throw, the faster the overall process. There are some really nice fine tune adjustments on both the powder throw and powder trickle to dial in the process.

2) Guy in the video is only using one powder cup. With 2 cups (I've got 2), you can insert another cup into the scale while you are dumping a completed powder charge into your brass. It's a two hand operation, but you get the hang of it very quickly. The A&D zeros out so fast, allowing this 2 cup process to further speed up the operation. All without losing any of the accuracy that the A&D + AutoThrow + AutoTrickle combo is capable of.

There are a lot of other in-depth videos on YouTube, but I liked this one for showing the basics and speed of the system.

Let me know if you've got any other questions about the set up. Thanks!
