How long do you want to ignore this user?
I've used Pronone Power Pellets (now about $400 plus for 5.5 pounds), and used liquid Velpar (as a soil spot treatment) to kill mesquite and juniper. I see there is "Velpar DF", which is a dry granule meant to mix in water and spray.

The concentration of the DF and the Pronone Pellets are both 75%. Has anyone used the Velpar DF to "toss" in dry form (like Spike granules)?? It's $175 for 4 pounds, vs $400 for 5.5 pounds of Pronone Pellets. (About $30 less per pound).

Interested! I've heard spraying velpar is dangerous stuff but I have so many cedars (junipers) to kill that I can't even begin to count

I've used a cattle drench gun (with a 3 foot extension on the tip) to "soil spot" a few cc's of LIQUID Velpar around big mesquite and some cedar. Works well. The pellets work well, too. They're just WAY to expensive. Was just hoping someone might have experience with the Velpar "granules", so I don't feel obligated to conduct a $175 "experiment". Can't say I've ever "sprayed" Velpar.

I'm "guessing" the solid carrier material is probably the same as the larger pellets, but I don't know that.
