Every year around Thanksgiving, a good buddy comes to town to hunt. This property doesnt see a person except for the couple days a year that he can get away from work. I come help play guide and in exchange I get to hunt an untouched property that rarely sees a human. The way we used to hunt. No feeders, No cameras. Just find where the deer are already feeding, put out a sack of corn and wait in anticipation, not knowing what might show up. I absolutely love it.
I will say the addition of popup blinds and bog pods are nice.
I shot a doe in the morning and he decided to shoot a buck in the afternoon. I was zoomed in on X18 watching through my scope for his impact. One of the cooler things, Ive seen while hunting. At impact, a two foot stream of blood shot directly back towards us before the deer could even move. Felt like I was going to get blood in my eye.
No need to wait to track
