That's over by the Mount Taylor/grants area west of Albuquerque. I think. I did not know that they had huge elk over there or even a large elk population.

If you scroll through the pics you'll see one where there's several other elk racks in the background. And they aren't much smaller.

That area has outrageous bulls. And it looks very little like what the average person would expect elk country to look like. I honestly think the heavy cattle operations over there help.
