We had one on our place in Ranger, TX two decades ago and I still get a little shaky walking to some of stands when it's pitch black.

Assuming those are 50" horse panels, yes - most likely. Most of the free range ones are mutts and could have elk/stag and even sika in them.

I think that's a cross with a lot of sika in him or maybe just full sika cant tell if it has the brow crown or not from that pic.

It actually looks like it may have a lot of red wolf in it. Probably hybrid with a coyote but that canine has a lot of phenotypical traits of a red wolf.

We're not very far from you but to the east 10-15 miles, maybe more. Apparently neighbors had this one on camera a few weeks ago too. Sounds like it is hanging around… need to get rid of it.
