No way that's a coyote. Has to be a Red Wolf. My neighbors uncle saw one in the area last month. He has pics on his phone of it, I'll try to get them. Probably displaced by the growing grizzly population in Carizzo Springs

Well, plenty might be a bit too strong, but there is some red wolf genes in an isolated group of coyotes. Doesn't make them wolves tho. There is also some Neanderthal genes in the human population and I've yet to meet a Neanderthal - although I've met plenty of folks that act like one, lol!
