I had the exact same issue on my Super Vinci when I pulled it out of the safe ~3 weeks ago. Put the Limbsaver AirTech on as a replacement.

Any issues with fitment? Ordered the same pad.

Zoli Z-Sport 12 gauge o/u
Zoli Pernice Round Body 28ga o/u

These are outstanding shotguns. I have around 50k rounds through the Z-Sport without any issues.

Beretta silver pigeon 12 ga. 26" with 20 ga. and 16 ga. barrel tubes from Briley's. It makes the gun a bit heavier but also forces you two swing through the shot. And I have 3 guns in one…

Still like to pull out the 870 12 ga. For fun

Browning A5 Ultimate in 12ga 28inch
My son shoots a Beretta AL300 in 20ga that I lucked into after looking for years.
Ducks usually get my Beretta real tree A300 or the blacked out synthetic one.

I've had a Citori for 30 years that I bought when I graduated A&M. With 26 inch barrels, and my eye dominance issues, I miss a lot with it.

I've been shooting a Remington Versamax since 2014 or so. I mostly hunt ducks and doves with it. The main pros are that it shoots everything from light target loads to turkey shot without any trouble, very soft shooting, and it just fits me really well. Two main complaints - it is heavy and I did have a problem with it that was a bit of a pain to deal with. The magazine catch/bolt release lever pivots on a roll pin. One day it started working it's way out of the press fit hole as I was shooting. I drove it back in, but it kept working it's way out as I'd shoot. I ended up getting a tiny pin that I could press fit into the roll pin (to make it a touch bigger) and then driving that into the gun. It has held for a few years now without any issues, but man that drove me crazy. I also almost never shoot 3.5" shells, so that capability is wasted.

Benelli Super Vinci here. Love that gun. As for the butt pad, if you submit a warranty claim they will send you a new one for free. Just contacted them a few weeks ago. They did say its taking about 10 weeks to get them out right now though.

Hunting dove with the .410 is one of the most satisfying things out there. I have a yildiz o/u 410 that's a lot of fun, and a Winchester 42 that I used to pull out of the safe occasionally.

Just don't like buying 410 shells right now!

3 of the 4 limits I've shot this year have been with the single shot 410. I switched to the 20ga this past Saturday for efficiency/speed. We shot during halftime and after the game, so I had 10 birds real quick during halftime and then the last 5 in about 5 min after we ran out of time in Miami. I'm now trying to decide if I want a 410 or 28 o/u.

My go-to 12 gauge is an early '70s Browning Auto-5. The only time its ever let me down in the field is when the chamber closed on a sunflower head and turned it into a single shot until I could get it home.

My new favorite is a 20 gauge Auto-5 made by Remington during WW2 when the Belgium plants were shut down. I took it out opening day for dove season and it is such a sweet-shooting gun. I got it for my birthday a couple of years ago, but didn't get to hunt with it much last year.

Got a Benelli SuperNova 12ga in Max-5 a few years ago to replace my trusty 870 and have loved it. I wanted to cycle any size/shot of shells and not care about what the elements are. I've toyed with the thought of getting an auto over the years, but the pump is such a workhorse.

Ithaca SKB o/u

I got a 20ga for $100 when my parents' next door neighbor was selling his late FIL's guns. I took that 20ga that had a rough stock but good steel and had the stock refinished. I loved that little O/U so I kept an eye out for a matching 12ga.

Low and behold I found one on one of the online auction places. Auction was over with no sale. I contacted the seller, he was a doctor in PA. We did a private deal and he shipped to my FFL.

Now I have a matched set of Ithaca SKB O/Us

I shoot the same Ithaca in 20ga. Great little gun, my only complaint is the fixed chokes versus interchangeable. But it's a minor complaint. Every year I tell myself I'm sending it off to Carlson to get honed and threaded for interchangeable chokes. I started telling myself that probably 15 years ago and it hasn't been done yet.

I want one in 12 as well, kick myself for passing one up at a pawn shop a few years back that I probably could have gotten for $600 or maybe less.

Also, I am disappointed at the lack of replies mentioning Kreighoff, Perazzi, Ceasar Gureni, etc. guns.

Thank you for this post. Just got off the phone with Benelli USA and I should have a new butt pad in a couple weeks. Said they just had a shipment of them come in.

My Super Vinci is a 2011 and technically out of the 10 year warranty. However, they told me they're handling it to ensure customer satisfaction. I'm impressed.

Ok,I'll bite. I shot Perrazi's during trap competitions back in the early to mid 1980s. Singles/Handicap gun was a TM1 and Doubles gun was an MT6. I believe the guns were imported by Winchester but made in Italy.

My dove gun is a 20 ga Ruger Red Label that I have shot for more than 40 years. Backup is a Winchester model 101 pigeon grade. My sons argue on who is going to inherit the Ruger.
