Apparently your recreational activity of running your dogs on my ranch ("accidentally" or not), is not supposed to "bother my family".

I'll add mountain bikers. I've seen them cruising on private property up dry creeks (non navigatable) and venturing off above streambeds following trails. They cut through unimproved vacant lots or sections of lots with natural vegetation. I had a real problem on one of my job sites & put up signs which were ignored daily. We were building berms for erosion control & re-seeding with native vegetation that these pr*cks just drove over & through. Called quite a few of these guys out on it & was met with indignation or feigned ignorance every time. Put up a temporary fence & they removed it so they could pass through. Not one apology. (Not to mention on regular public trails they tear ass around & don't yield to hikers like they are supposed to)Quote:
In my experience, the two types of people that claim sovereign immunity to property boundaries are:
1) People on horses
2) Coon hunters*

"We've always ridden through here"
"This should be public access"
"The landowner isn't even using this area"
"I didn't see the sign"
"We're just passing through"
"We have to go a long way to get to the main trail if we don't go through here"
Faster way to need a new bike and pants https://t.co/ek0fNgjuX6

If it's a hog dog, they are going down. They've cut fences and messed with cameras at my neighbors place. I think word has got around about what will happen if they attempt any of that on my place.
I agree that's a problem. Like a lot of farmers, I have had 100s of thousands of dollars worth of equipment, unattended over several miles distance from the house.Quote:
We say this but at the same time I'm not sure I want to give hog hunters who know where our blinds, feeders, and camp are a reason to be pissed off.
