Gotcha. Guess the OP has to decide if he wants to spend the money on it. Since he does not seem to indicate he is invading Iraq, it's probably money better spent on a something less costly and then spend all the extra money on doodads and gizmos to put on it for the infinitely unlikely but tremendously exciting to prep for "SHTF" situation.

Best i can explain. Lmt and KAC will fill contracts first. During this time they will have over runs that they release to the public through a select number of vendors. Boss firearms in CS is one of those vendors. TitanDefense, V1 tactical, Palm Beach tactical, rooftop defense, DOD defense, and I know I'm missing a couple more.

You can get complete rifles, but with instagram and reddit pages have dedicated followers, once some is listed as available, its gone within 3 minutes.

So what folks will do is piece together a complete rifle. Buy a lower from Boss, buy the upper from Titan. Buy the bcg from rooftop. The parts are released at different times.

Yes you can find a complete rifle, but piecing together is more likely.

Thanks for all the replies and I learned a few things along the way. I'll stop by my local GT Distributors to see if I can put my hands on a KAC.

That's what I would do. I have been getting parts and building my .308 for 4 years. I think I like sourcing and building way more than actually owning and shooting the rifle. Lol.

I totally agree.

When I first got my jp, It's was a trip shooting cloverleaf with a Red-dot sight.

It's been the most popular among competition shooters from what I have observed, And those guys put a ton of ammo through them.

If I were buying or building a new 3gun rifle, JP is where it's at. When it times to rebuild my current comp. gun, it'll have a lot of JP parts in it.

My first AR was a PSA, and they do outstanding work arming Americans.

Nothing wrong with owning a DPMS, Ruger, PSA, whatever. Just because there are "gucci" ARs doesnt mean yours isnt worth owning or using.

ETA: I'm going to have a thread on an all PSA budget build and what you can do with one this summer.
