We have our older lab on Victor. Switched her off Royal Canin urinary formula after our old Weim passed. Significantly cheaper, and she likes it.

In one of the first bags we got, I found a very hard, sharp piece of plastic imbedded in one of the pellets. Allerted the company and Chewy shipped us a new bag at no cost. Spent quite a bit of time sifting through the food looking for more but that was a onetime deal.

Our new Weim pup is on Chicken Soup for the Soul or some stupid named food. It was recommended by our neighbors who have 4 Weims in various stages of competitive field trials. The formula meets all of our breeder's recommendations (she's a big deal in the Weimaraner world and our dog has lots of titles in her lineage), but I haven't looked at the adult formula.

Both my labs are in Victor. We swapped from
Pro plan. Older dog decided she didn't like pro plan after the ingredients changed during covid. Victor has been great so far.

I may give Victor a shot then.. Purina Pro Plan 30/20 Sport whatever is $90 a bag now. It's up a couple bucks everytime I go buy a new bag. I ain't eating steak every meal. I eat hamburger meat and rice. I kind of feel like my dogs don't need the dry-aged ribeye dog equivalent either.

Check out Chewy.com. You may be able to get your dog food shipped to you on an automatic schedule. It's nice to have it delivered than me picking it up at the store.

No love for Ol' Roy?

Been feeding our 6 y/o GSP Victor Hi-Pro since she was a pup, based on recommendations from the breeder. As she gets older, will probably dial back the protein % but will stay with Victor. A Texas company, too.

Our 10 year old Rottweiler was our medical foster initially. She was on Hills WD for over a year while she was fighting through health issues. We adopted her last year and transitioned her to the Victor senior line for the joint supplements. She's doing great on it - fur looks shinier, and poops are solid and consistent.

Any bad reviews on Fromm? We feed our 3 65 lb + the large breed bag for the past 3 years and it appears they're doing well on it. A little over $60 for a 30 lb bag.

Wife seems to switch the dog foods for our critters about every year or so. We're on diamond naturals right now…

We feed our 3 dogs Victor. 2 goldendoodles and a Bernese/German shepherd mix. We have it auto shipped from Chewy.
