There was a time in this country when this would have been one of the biggest scandals in American history.
Our government has become so corrupt that now news like this is just"Tuesday".

Bank of America I can avoid, the government hell bent on turning me into a criminal is a completely different story.

BofA is just trash. You are doing them a favor by letting them hold your money, not the other way around. BofA forgot that decades ago. F them. Wells Fargo is only slightly better.

If you don't live in a white neighborhood, BOA will give you a good loan. Sorry, whitey, BOA is still gonna need to see things like a "credit score."

I worked with them as a vendor for ~7 years. They weren't great work work with in that capacity either. My internal program team would pretty often break down crying on customer calls b/c the BoA team was so brutal and unreasonable in their expectations.

I've been a credit union guy for decades. Can't see why anyone would use a bank or pay their unholy fees!

BoA is crap. Had to deal with them at a prior job(we were their customer). Bleh. I'd avoid national banks.

+1 on the credit union. Love Navy Fed! About to dump my one remaining Chase account.

Guess I need to look into switching, but I know there's no convenient alternatives. I've been with BoA since they were NationsBank and have never had an issue. To make matters worse I use Merrill to play day trader and added a nice BoA black card a few years back and they all play nice together.

I dumped Merrill through all this also. They really pissed me off when they halted trading on GME and AMC. Could trade both on fidelity all day long. BofA/Merrill now have exactly $0 of my money after holding 95% of it for probably close to 20 years. Fk em.

All of it, for a price. They know what you buy, which is sold gold marketing data. More relevant that who you vote for etc.
