I'm looking to fish late limestone tomorrow for the first time. The lake is down about 5 and 1/2 ft, and I know it has lots of stumps to watch out for.

I need help with the following:

What ramp is best to use for launching?

Areas of the lake to avoid?

Where can I find vegetation?

Any recent personal fishing reports you're willing to share?

TIA

I used to catch tons of crappie there in march in the old creeks. Not sure about this time of year.

Stay away from the bridge and most coves. I know last I saw the game wardens were landlocked in by the dam.

Lake Limestone is out of fish and no-one should try to fish there. Tell your friends too.

You will need to put in at Limestone Marina on the east side of the lake. I haven't been out with it being so low, so I can't help you with where to fish. Good luck and watch for stumps!

If you are bass fishing, make sure you have good sonar, depth chirp, the stumps that never get you are going to be the ones that have been submerged for years and rock solid. Stick to what you can of docks, but that will be limited. BRA has a website of what ramps are still open, I'm unsure if any will be safe not knowing what your towing and what your towing with.
I will be out there this weekend if you need to call someone. Send me a PM and we can exchange numbers.

I also have a tool box for sale.

I appreciate the feedback. We are going to target largemouth. Will be using LiveScope and chirp on 21' Skeeter. I drive a half ton, but no four-wheel drive. Will that be an issue?

Where can I find hydrilla beds?

Thank you for everything. I'll DM you.
