Worth the $$?
Depends on the steel. I looked at their website and tried to find out what steel they use, but they only state "high manganese steel clad steel", and in some parts they state "high carbon steel". In the vast majority of knife companies, if they use quality steel, they will be proud of that and will state which steel they use on their websites.
I don't have any problem with Chinese knives. There are some excellent knives coming out of there right now, and $ for $ they have better build quality than some USA-made products like Case. All of my daily carries are made in the USA (well... also have one Italian and two Russian, obtained before those idiots invaded Ukraine), but I also have a handful of Chinese pocketknives that are wonderful in both materials and construction and are therefore worth the money. The Coolinas might be made of some excellent steel, but I would not spend that much money for one without knowing what they are made of.
