Have a buddy that just bought a fifth wheel camper...really large and pretty. We smoked some brisket last night on my pellet grill. Does anyone know if they make a tabletop type smoke that wouldn't take up too much room in one of his storage cabinets?

I guess it depends on what you mean by small. A small big green egg would be an extremely versatile item he could use as a smoker, grill, searing, baking, etc. The downside is that it is small with a 13 inch cooktop diameter and pretty heavy, but compact.

A pellet grill would be great for this application. Very versatile, easy and quick set up, cools down fast.

Grilla Chimp- amazing grill. You can get one without the legs for tabletop, and they sell inverters so you could even run it off a battery.

PitBoss also sells a table top grill, about 1/2 the price of the Grilla.

Camp Chef sells a foldable one (pursuit I think is what it's called).
Treager sells one too, but it's priced about double what it should be, for the features and quality you get.

I carry a BGE mini max in my 5th wheel basement and it does a great job with smoking, but you'd never fit a full brisket. It's perfect for pulled pork, beef ribs, etc. and I use it all the time. It is pretty heavy so he needs to be ready for that. I have also seen a tabletop pit boss that looks interesting, but don't have any experience with it

The Grilla Chimp is awesome. I bought it for this reason. It actually has legs that fold up to make a tailgate smoker. Fits in the trunk of a car too.

I went and looked at all the tailgate Pellet smokers and the Chimp was far and beyond better than anything else on the market. Size, construction, reviews, etc.

I almost bought the camp chef pursuit earlier this year but I really like the Grilla with all the features.
