Not sure. I didn't know he was doing the base, honestly. And he told me I didn't have to take it. We originally discussed a wall pedestal and I picked the pose, but he had to put it on a base for the show since there's no wall to hang it on there. I think the base is cool as hell and I'm strongly considering keeping it. It's got the right colors and rustic look that remind me of the Utah desert.

Man, these past couple months have been crazy, but I finally got him home! The base fits perfectly in the corner, so I kept it.

Also managed to get my lynx from BC above the study door and he turned out pretty solid too!
